1. My grey boots. Cute, cheap, and don't make me look like an elf. I wear them with everything. Particularly tights and a sweater dress.
2. Allegra. Seriously. After I found out I was allergic to life I started taking this and things are much more pleasant for me. I can actually sleep in my bed without having an allergic reaction. I'm a much nicer person. Thanks Allegra, Thanks.
3. Bones. I know. But I just love her. She's so cute and smart and oblivious. And she doesn't give a damn about the status quo.
4. Anthropologie. They've been having mad sales lately. I've spent too much money but when something that's originally 118 dollars goes on sale for 29 how does one resist?
5. Rosebud Salve. I'm a little late to this party but man I love this stuff. Lip gloss, cuticle cream, and an all purpose skin preparation (whatever the hell that means).
6. School Counselors. My therapist is one and she's convinced me I need to be one too. I've applied to grad school and am ridiculous thrilled with the idea of playing and painting and helping tiny kids all day.
7. Barack Obama. Regardless of your political leanings you gotta love a man who fires people up. The country is actually engaged in the political process, something that hasn't really happened at all in my lifetime. Plus he's getting his kids a puppy. AND he rides bumper cars. AND he called to apologize to a guy he cock blocked.
8. The Sandman Comic Series. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Until you have read them I don't want to hear it. They're amazing. And I hate "graphic novels." Dream is so dreamy.
9. The Japancakes, Giving Machines. It's a great album for the fall. Melodic and so easy to drive to. It helps me think and wash dishes.
10. Chicken. That's right I love chicken. I'm like Bubba from Forest Gump except with chicken. Barbecued, boiled, broiled, baked, sauteed, fried...
